Option 1: Go back to school.
Research a career path I would like to pursue in. Apply for post baccalaureate program for engineering or human services for Fall 2016. Go to school for 4 years. Internship.
Pros- In a job field I enjoy. Make enough money to support future and family. ($80,000) Eliminate personal shame from friends and family?
Cons- Have to wait til Fall 2016 (6 months) maybe more if application doesn't go through. More accumulated debt. Struggling marriage financially in the beginning? Commit to studying.
Option 2: Stick to Event operations.
Continue looking for a job in this field.
Pros- Already have a degree and experience. Produce awesome events!
Cons- Not a high paying job. May be a stressful field.
Option 3: Just look for any job.
Look for a job in any suitable field with a good company. Go with the flow and hopefully move up.
